The Director of the CEJ discloses the full list of goods found on the sinking ship, as received by RTI.

A list of dangerous chemicals transported by the MV X-Press Pearl vessel that caught fire off the coast of Sri Lanka has been released by the Centre for Environmental Justice.

Hemantha Withanage, the Centre's Executive Director, stated one container had dangerous chemicals, while others had aluminum production byproducts, cosmetics raw materials, and food items, among other things.

He stated that the information received through the Right To Information (RTI) process has been made public for the benefit of the public.

This information was given, according to Withanagae, in order to protect people from coming into contact with debris and packages from the ship that have been washing ashore off the coast of Negombo. (Source: NewsWire)
