 Heavy rain has prompted a red alert in nine districts.

Showers are expected to continue in the south-western parts of the country (particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as Galle and Matara districts). Today, heavy rains exceeding 150 mm are expected in some areas (2021.06.03).
