Netanyahu is no longer Prime Minister of Israel, as the new Israeli government has been approved.

After Israel's parliament voted in a new coalition government, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's 12-year reign came to an end.

The Yamina party's right-wing nationalist Naftali Bennett will be sworn in as the new prime minister.

As part of a power-sharing agreement, Mr Bennett will continue in office until September 2023.

He will then take over to Yair Lapid, the moderate Yesh Atid party's leader, for another two years.
