Devi Balika's decision to relocate some classes has been revoked.
The decision of the Devi Balika Vidyalaya to shift numerous GCE Advanced Level classrooms to the Wijerama Maha Vidyalaya in Gangodawila, Nugegoda has been reversed.
The Wijerama Maha Vidyalaya, on the other hand, has elected to use English as a medium of instruction for all disciplines from primary to GCE Advanced Level.
A committee has been formed by the Education Ministry to look into the viability of implementing a pilot project at the school, according to the ministry.
Meanwhile, the Ministry said it will look into other options for developing the Devi Balika Vidyalaya's GCE Advanced Level programs.
The administration and Old Girls Association of Devi Balika Vidyalaya have already expressed their displeasure with the plan to shift numerous Advanced Level classes to Wijerama Maha Vidyalaya in Nugegoda. (Source: NewsWire)
