China has reported 35 new cases of COVID.

The country's health ministry reported 35 new coronavirus infections in mainland China for June 11, up from 22 the day before.

The National Health Commission said that eight of the new cases were local transmissions, compared to nine the day before. All of the local incidents occurred in Guangdong's southern province.

In addition, China reported 27 new asymptomatic infections, up from 25 the day before. In China, symptomless illnesses are not considered confirmed cases.

China has a total of 91,394 confirmed illnesses as of Friday. The death toll remained at 4,636 people. (Reuters)
