Next Friday, another 65,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccination will be delivered.

 According to State Minister Prof. Channa Jayasumana, Russia will ship 65, 000 doses of its Sputnik V vaccine next Friday.

Sputnik V, unlike other vaccines, contains two separate formulae for the first and second doses.

Prof. Jayasumana stated that 15,000 doses of the anticipated stock would be for persons who received their first jab in Colombo's Gothatuwa region last month.

Furthermore, he stated that Sri Lanka would get its quota of Covid-19 vaccines from the US via COVAX this month (Kelum Bandara)
