Minister Wimal is in Russia for the International Economic Conference in St. Petersburg.

Wimal Weerawansa, Minister of Industries, has represented Sri Lanka at the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Conference (SPIEF ‘ 21), which began on June 2nd.

The summit in Russia is being attended by a Sri Lankan delegation led by Minister Weerawansa.

The Conference, which was attended by high-level diplomats from over 120 nations, included Russian President Vladimir Putin, the heads of international economic organizations in Russia, and the CEOs of state and private enterprises from other nations.
