China, the most powerful country in the world under CPC leadership: Ranil
Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that China has become the most powerful country in the world economy today under the Communist Party's leadership, and that it was critical for Sri Lanka to grasp how the future cyber era will affect Sri Lanka and how it will evolve.
Mr. Wickremesinghe made this comment during an address delivered via zoom to commemorate the Communist Party of China's centennial (CPC).
“When striving to change a non-industrial agricultural country into an industrialized country, it is critical for all of us to consider the development of the Chinese Communist Party. Mr. Wickremesinghe explained that the Chinese Communist Party began all of these operations by acknowledging the fact of global development.
“We should be grateful for the Chinese Communist Party's leadership in China. China has risen to become the world's most powerful country under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party. It is critical for us to comprehend how the future cyber age will affect Sri Lanka and how it will evolve. As a world power, the Chinese Communist Party bears a significant responsibility to lead China and maintain world peace, he added.
“We all remember the past today,” Mr. Wickremesinghe added. In 1919, Sri Lanka and China declared independence from the British Empire. At the time, the “Ceylon National Congress” was formed in Sri Lanka. China has begun a campaign dubbed "May 04." In 1921, the Chinese Communist Party was founded as a result of this campaign.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the Chinese Communist Party on its 100th anniversary on behalf of myself and the United National Party. The People's Republic of China deserves praise for its efforts to alleviate poverty inside its boundaries.
President Deng Xiaoping was one of the Chinese Communist Party's leaders who helped the country become a global power.
At the time, socialism was formed that was unique to China, based on the Chinese experience.
The Chinese Communist Party pursued this core goal by focusing on three primary objectives: doubling GDP between 1983 and 1990, quadrupling GDP between 1980 and 2000, and providing the Chinese people with a globally mediumsized per capita income by 2020.
President Jian Jemin and President Hu Jintao led the way on this voyage. Today, under President Xi Jinping's leadership, development has begun to safeguard the Chinese nation's greatness, and steps have been taken to create a green economy.
In particular, the Belt and Road Initiative establishes a new economic structure that links Asia, Africa, and Europe.
This is the first time in history that an economic structure of this nature has emerged in Asia.
